The Texas Surf Museum is proud to present the “Pat Magee Surf Shop, The Collection” Exhibit to the public on March 6. The exhibit will showcase the history of Texas Surfing Legend Pat Magee and his outstanding and iconic surf shop in Port Aransas. From surfing on the distinguished Dewey Weber Surf Team, catching waves in Mexico with friends, parking lot parties at his shop, or spending time with his wife, Pat Magee’s contributions to Texas Surfing and the sport of surfing as a whole has been remarkable. Here at the Texas Surf Museum, we are excited for this next chapter and we are honored to present it in such a way. The “Pat Magee Surf Shop, The Collection” is a “for see and sale” exhibit, meaning many of the unique items on display in the museum will be for sale! From vintage vinyl’s, posters, artwork, and books to actual surfboards, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to get your hands on rare surfing items.
Everyone is welcome to attend as Pat Magee cuts the ribbon on this exciting new chapter at the Texas Surf Museum. Along with other familiar faces, one of Pat Magee’s long time friends, Robert August, will be in attendance to show his support.
Here at the Texas Surf Museum your health and safety is our highest priority. We do require that everyone wears masks and practices social distancing. These are odd times, but we do appreciate your cooperation.
